Rough Start
For those that don't know...Ed, Mallory and I are traveling to Thailand for two weeks to visit family. Unfortunately, our trip has not started out well. Our plane from Indy to NYC left on time, but right as we were about to take off...the pilot cut the engine and say that there were weather delays in NYC and we were not going to lift off until 2:30. It was 1:15. Needless to say, Mallory did not enjoy this delay and neither did anyone sitting around us. We finally did lift off at 2:30 and she fell asleep on me and slept the whole way. When we got to NYC we had to haul our heavy luggage and Mallory to the hotel.
Ed called Thai Airways from the hotel to confirm our seats on the 17 hr. flight to Bangkok and they told us that all three of our seats were in different rows and across the plane from each other....needless to say, this will not work. The person he talked to could not do anything to fix it and told us to try and go early to the gate and get it changed. In the meantime, we called Ed's Dad and asked him to call a relative that works for Thai Airways and see if there is anything he can do to fix the seats.
We are getting ready to head to the airport...pray that they got the seats fixed and we have a good flight.
